Filmed on location in Mebane, NC - The Compromise is a "Mocumentary" / Comedy / Road Movie about 3 roommates on a get together trip doomed to failure when they combine it with a road trip to a beauty pageant. The camper breaks down & mayhem takes over!
Lovingly referred to as the little indie that could, this indie film was filmed on a shoestring budget, but attracted big talent. Chris Medico, the film's DP has worked for TRU Tv and many other national companies, Kerry Cashion - the lead actress - is known as one of the rising indie actresses in the Southeast, having just starred in "On The Market" & "Beautifully Departed" & Tara-Nicole Azarian - who plays Genevive - is one of the hardest working child actors in the Southeast, having 29 film credits under her belt. First time writer / director Dean Logan hits a home run with his Mocumentary style comedy treatment of his film. Laurie Poole, who plays Martha does an outstanding job of bringing her backwoods character to life & Lee Epling's cameo role is priceless.
The Compromise had it's first screening in Greensboro, NC - June 16th, 2010 at the Carousel Cinema.
